Girlfriend(n.) A female friend a male is romantically or SEXUALLY involved with. Many only associate a girlfriend with someone they are sexually involved with and just ignore the romance. The problem with the dictionary’s meaning for a girlfriend is that it includes sex. This gives many men the impression that one of the girlfriends responsibilities is to have sex. Im not saying all men think this way but there are many that have that type of view to what a girlfriend is. Sex SHOULD NOT be the responsibility of a girlfriend, but of a WIFE.
